Team and collaborators

Your team

Invite managers, assistants or anyone else who helps run your music into Backstage → Team. Each person gets an email invite and signs in with their own account.

Role	What they can do
Owner	Everything, including removing or replacing the owner
Manager	Everything except removing or replacing the owner
Editor	Releases, exclusive content, community, chat, messages, shipping orders and insights
Viewer	View the dashboard, insights and reports only

Only owners and managers can connect Stripe, see payouts, send Fan Connect campaigns, invite team members or change store settings.

Collaborator splits

Split a product’s earnings with the people who made it with you. Their share is paid out automatically on every sale.

1. Open the product in Backstage and go to its splits section.
2. Add each collaborator’s name, email, role and percentage.
3. They get an email invite. Invites expire after 14 days.
4. Your collaborator accepts and connects their own Stripe account, or sets one up.

Once they’ve accepted, every future sale pays their share straight to their Stripe account. Splits on a product can’t add up to more than 100%. If you change or remove a split, the collaborator gets an email.
