Set up your artist page

Nexera is for independent artists in Australia and New Zealand. Every artist is reviewed by the Nexera team before their store goes live.

1. Apply

1. Sign in to Nexera with Google or an email code. If you already buy music on Nexera as a fan, use the same account.
2. Go to Get started and fill in the application: your artist name, your country (Australia or New Zealand) and a few details about you and your music.

The “about” section is only seen by our review team. It isn’t shown to fans.

You’ll get an email to confirm we’ve received your application.

2. Get reviewed

Our team reviews your application and emails you the outcome.

• Approved: you’ll get a welcome email with a link to set up your store.
• Not approved: the email tells you why. You’re welcome to apply again.

Your fan account doesn’t change either way. Your library, purchases and follows stay where they are.

3. Finish your profile

After you’re approved, Backstage asks you to finish your profile before you can use anything else:

• Profile photo
• Banner image
• Social links
• A short bio for fans (up to 300 characters)

4. Connect Stripe

Nexera pays you through Stripe. Fans can’t buy from your store until this step is done.

In Backstage, go to Settings and connect your Stripe account. Your store currency is set here: AUD for Australia or NZD for New Zealand. Once it’s set, it can’t be changed. See Getting paid.

5. Add your first product

Go to Products → New and choose a release, a physical product or a podcast. See Products and releases.

6. Share your store

Your store lives at nexera.music/your-name. Share it with your fans, or build a link page to go in your bio.
