Products and releases
Everything you sell lives in Backstage → Releases. Choose + New Release to start one of these:
- Release: a single, EP or album sold as a digital download or fans can listen from their Library - you choose.
- Physical: cassette, vinyl or CD you post to fans.
- Podcast: a series of episodes fans can unlock.
Previews
Section titled “Previews”Let fans hear a clip before they buy. Pick where the clip starts and how long it runs: 9, 15, 20, 25 or 30 seconds. You can also turn previews off completely.
Exclusive content
Section titled “Exclusive content”Add videos, behind-the-scenes material and other extras in Backstage → Exclusive content. Fans unlock them by buying a tier that includes exclusive access. See Pricing.
Timing your release
Section titled “Timing your release”Pre-orders
Section titled “Pre-orders”Set a release date in the future and your product becomes a pre-order. Fans can buy it now, and it unlocks on release day. They get an email within a couple of minutes of it going live.
Track-by-track drops
Section titled “Track-by-track drops”On an EP or album, give each track its own unlock date to drop it one song at a time. Want some fans to have a track straight away? Mark it as an instant unlock and anyone who pre-orders gets it immediately.
Sales windows
Section titled “Sales windows”Set a start date, an end date or both. Before the start, the product isn’t on sale yet. After the end, the sale is closed.
Limiting a product to top fans
Section titled “Limiting a product to top fans”You can make a product available only to fans at or above a certain fan tier. Anyone below that tier sees a message telling them which tier they need.
